This technique definitely works. I cut my 9ft fiddle and it gave me three new shoot without using a growth powder or paste. I saw new shoots in less than a month and the tree is over 11ft after four months

My 2 succulents are tall and curving around. I was going to repot them together in a terracotta pot. Does this sound ok,? I have small lava rock and soil not sand. They are in small pots now with direct TX evening sun. Thanks

I prop lift at Lowe’s all the time, I ask every now and then just to make sure they’re still good with it and they have no problem at all, they’re basically like it’s trash to them so I’m just helping clean up lol I recently actually got two whole plants out of a trash can, one was in absolutely perfect condition

I was in Home Depot last week I came inside and saw 2 leaves of a snake plant and a huge piece of a cactus that I would never buy. I asked a staff person if they were just going to sweep them up for trash because if they were I would like to have them. The person I asked didn’t know so she called a manager who said, “Go ahead and take them. That was the first I knew you could do that. Both the snake plant and the cactus appear to be doing well. You can bet I will be looking now for free plants. I would never take them without asking.

It's the equivalent of taking a grape from the produce section.

Depending on where you live (check state seed sharing laws) if legal in your state most libraries offer seeds free of charge. no library card needed (at least in my Ca county)

Do you water when you stick the callused cuttings in the soil? The soil in the planting pot you are showing on the video looks quite moist but I want to make sure of how much water I need to give them when I stick them in the ground.

I pick up the broken pieces at Walmart Lowes and home depot like you said they would be thrown away 😊

Ok, Im nervous. Got my first Fiddle today. It was 29.99 at Cosco and 5 feet tall. From the comments, the Fiddle sounds finicky. Sounds like you're damned if you do and damned if you dont.😮

As we were leaving I needed plastic bag because mulch package was breaking apart As I was trying to find big piece of cardboard box or like any plastic bag outside of the store I spotted where they put trash and they had boxes there so I went to pick up one. As I got closer I saw at least 10-15 plants of pepper tomatoes and cucumbers just left to die by the trash so I took one of each. I wish I took them all. I am sure they died, but the ones I brought home are thriving…. So yeah I don’t think it is stealing. In my eyes it is saving.

I’m sorry. This is just strange. Just weird kid in school type of behavior. Just odd. You can literally buy the plant which leaves belong to as low as like 2.99 at Home Depot. Like come on

I went to my local nursery and after one year of being 9:26 there the last time I was appalled by the jump in prices... But that's not the point. I found a dying little plant in a pot and asked one of the employees if I could take it home for free. She said yes but it wasn't up to her so she sent me to the manager. This horrible man told me that they would throw away if needed but he didn't want to give it to me. After a few minutes I saw a. Piece of rhododendron, and told him well I'm sure you won't need this! He wasn't happy but he let me go. Now the little rhododendron is fighting for his life and I'm pretty sure that he will make it.... Hurrah! That horrid man couldn't really stop me, carrying a dead piece of plant out of the nursery. I plan to do it again as many times I can :)

These stores just waste money on plants and don't care much about them.. after a few days they will be dieing or half way there so they should be giving away these plants. It's ridiculous. So I clearly don't see what's the problem here😂🎉😂

There's a small greenhouse that occasionally has succulents. The owner buys pre-propogated ones. We were chatting one day and the owner started grabbing the broken off parts and put them in a pot of a succulent i was buying.

Do you have any suggestions on how to repot a Christmas cactus that has been in the same pot for 15+ years? The pot has 2 different varieties of cactus in it and I thought it would be good to separate the plants into 2 new pots with fresh soil. I hesitate to disturb it but the dirt is rock hard and the plant has never bloomed well. Any ideas?

My son found a lavender plant that was going to be thrown out at Home Depot. I remembered your video and we asked the cashier if we could pay for it, we ended up getting that plant and another sunflower plant for free. My son was so happy that he was able to save two plants. Thank you!!
